Cinderella

Cinderella's specialty costume, an iconic off-shoulder ballgown, was made of light blue satin and tulle. The prince's coordinated blue outfit completed the picture. 

The Stepmother dress was a custom creation (piecing together 3 different patterns). The Stepsister specialty costumes were originally used in "Into the Woods". I refitted them and added fascinators to put them "over-the-top".

The Fairy Godmother's specialty costume was designed to mimic the classic Disney cartoon.  For the fairies, I reconstructed some "Oliver" bodices to fit the students (including a vest for the male), embellishing them with flowers and creating matching garlands. 

I made alterations to the Cinderella ballgown so it could be used in Holland Community Theatre's production of "The Princess Who Had No Name". (Photographer: Caitlin Bales)
