Say "yes" to the dress!

Divide your shower guests into teams and provide each with a tote of supplies.  They have 15-20 minutes to dress one of their team members in a custom-designed wedding dress, using the supplies in their tote and supplemental accessories from a centralized "store".  In addition, they must write a runway script and choose their announcer.

Each team takes a turn to have their model walk the runway while their announcer reads the runway script.  The bride gives each team a card that awards a fun category to the wedding dress.

Bring all of the models with their cards to the front and then the bride selects her favorite wedding dress.  Everyone on the winning team gets a prize, and you have some great photo-shoot opportunities!  See samples in the gallery below.

As the bridal shower game coordinator, you are responsible for setup, assigning the teams, explaining the how it works to the bride and participants, and keeping things moving. Your supplies include:

• "How it works" instructions
• Category cards - use our "starter kit" or get creative and make your own!

Each team is assigned a tote that includes wedding dress pieces and more:

• Bodices - unique top pieces in various sizes and/or adjustable
• Skirts - unique bottoms in various sizes and/or adjustable
• Accent pieces - unique bustles, sashes, sleeve options, etc.
• Design supplies - safety pins, clips, scissors, needle & thread
• Notebook and pen - to write the runway script

Setup a central location that any team can pull from as needed to complete their design. (Each team can send one representative to "shop".  Items are available on a first-come-first-served basis.)  Store contents include:

• Chalkboard sign and pen
• Lace parasol (a favorite!)
• Bouquets - silk floral bouquets in a variety of colors and styles
• Hats & veils - a variety of headpiece options
• Accessories - shoes, jewelry, bows, etc.
