I was the costume designer/builder for True JEM's 2023 production of Joseph & the Technicolor Dreamcoat. The portfolios below include photos from the show and my design notes.

I created many new bright-colored pieces for this show. Each brother's costume was unique and included a tunic or shirt/pants combo, a vest or overlay, a belt or sash, and a custom headpiece. The wives were similar but replaced pants with skirts.

My mom and sisters helped me bedazzle these custom-designed pieces.
Pharaoh - Iconic Elvis cape - only on stage for 30 seconds but it was our masterpiece!
Joseph - Ornate gold/turquoise pieces were added on stage when he became Pharaoh's 2nd.
Court - Matching gold collars and belts; beaded headbands for the women.

Potiphar - Tuxedo top, elaborate Egyptian belt, and black/white stripe drape
Mrs P - Black/silver flapper dress with long skirt, feathered headband and boa.
Servants - Black/silver uniform included collar and belt. Potiphar's & Mrs P's attendants had distinctive styling. Additional cape for Joseph when he was promoted.
