Design approach
Inspiration
I am always looking for new sources of inspiration. in addition to customer requirements, I am often inspired to start new creative projects by things I see in movies, YouTube videos, nature walks, or interactions with people.
Recycle, repurpose, and reuse
I believe in being a good steward and managing costs. I pick up interesting materials and supplies from garage sales and thrift stores so I can have them on hand for future projects...and I am always open to donated materials!
Creative challenge
I am constantly working to build by costume designer skills by learning new sewing/construction techniques and being willing to experiment. I enjoy taking on unique and creative design challenges.
Quality construction
Although I am not a professional tailor, I am a perfectionist and am committed to creating costumes I can be proud of. I value quality over quantity, so I prefer to focus on specialty / custom costumes rather than mass production.
Terms and conditions
Costume design & construction
Because I work full time during the day, I have to be selective in my costume designer commitments. However, I am always looking for new sources of inspiration.
Custom rental packages
I am just getting started in the costume-rental space, so all agreements are individual. Fill out the contact form to explain your custom costume needs and interests, and I will put together a package. Because this is my personal collection and I am not a for-profit company, I reserve the right to deny services or donate services at my discretion.
